I have been working with Australian Air Conditioning & Electrical on all my builds and i can't thank them enough. Their professionalism, reliability and communication is second to none, and any concerns (if any) were always resolved. I will continue to use them on all my up and coming projects and i look forward to a long working relationship with this company.
Had a fantastic end to end experience with Australian Air Conditioning and Electrical. The sales team were really knowledgeable and helpful and the ops team were brilliant in getting our central ducted A/C system fully installed and operational within a single day. They worked a non-stop 12 hour shift to get it all done. We’re thrilled with the end result. The house is so comfortable.
Accommodating, hardworking and friendly team that actually did exactly what we ask! Have already recommended them to neighbours.
It was a fantastic experience from the sales team and the installation team. Got a multi-split Panasonic with two heads installed with great workmanship at a very competitive price, so highly recommended.
Fantastic service and outcome. Very helpful sales staff. Super quick turnaround time, even at the busiest time of the year. The installation crew worked very hard, double checked and confirmed the installation plan. Polite and cleaned up after. Happy customer.
Outside the box thinkers… Being custom home builders, all of our jobs are always changing and demand some innovative solutions onsite. Andy and the team are quick to pick up any issues and will only contact us with solutions rather than handballing the problem back to us. The team at Australian Air Conditioning & Electrical have always met all their deadlines with perfect communication and exceptional quality of work. They have been doing all our electrical and HVAC services for several years and have never let us or our clients down.
I had a great experience with AACAE from sales to install and beyond. Ho was great to deal with, patient and understanding, while install crew were superstars. Thank you!

This all depends on what “activity” is happening e.g. decommission a gas ducted heater gets a higher rebate than decommissioning a gas wall heater. Generally speaking , the larger the system and the more efficient it is, the higher the rebate amount.
Almost everyone is eligible for the rebate, but the main criteria for domestic dwelling is that it must be at least 2 years old. Median household income is not taken into consideration, just the “activity” that is happening. e.g. Replace ducted gas heater with a high efficiency ducted reverse cycle system that is approved for the VEU rebate.
Typically the answer is no as the lower R rating (insulation rating) of the ductwork is non-compliant for refrigerated systems. Refrigerated systems also require more airflow than gas ducted heaters, so the diameter and sometimes even the number of outlets is not suitable for ducted reverse cycle systems.
Being a small but growing business, we do not have the capacity to do installation only of an air conditioner you have already purchased yourself.
The brands we work with are tried, true and trusted! Having worked with these brands for many years and seeing the great results and reliability from them we choose to align ourselves only with quality, reputable brands.
Unfortunately, we are not repair or service specialists as we specialise in supply and install of brand new systems. However, we do know some great service and repair agents if you need a recommendation.
Generally speaking no, as part of our back up and after sales service, if you ever have an issue with your system (whether it is installation or product related) the best bet is to contact us first. From there we are happy to arrange one of our technicians to come around to diagnose or if need be, raise a warranty call with the manufacturer on your behalf. We’ll even keep an eye on the warranty call for you to try and ensure it is carried out in a timely fashion.
On very cold mornings and nights, when it is close to freezing, ice can form on the outdoor unit coil which means the outdoor unit needs to melt the ice off the coil before resume operation in heating mode. This may happen a couple of times before the system can heat effectively, particularly if it is very cold. Some ways to reduce/minimise defrost mode happening is to set a timer an hour before you need it to heat, temperature doesn’t have to be set too high. The other way is to keep the system running over night, again, temperature doesn’t need to be set too high. When heating is then needed you can turn the temperature up and the system should heat fine. We also recommend either wall mounting the outdoor unit (even at a low height) or mounting the outdoor unit on feet to prop it up to help minimise the chances of defrost happening.
Yes, outdoor units in heating mode, especially for ducted reverse cycle systems will create condensate so this is completely normal operation.
